Our Accompanist
Jeannie F. Goodwin graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Music Education and a major in piano. Although she was qualified to teach K-12, piano teaching quickly became her passion. She
has been an independent music teacher ever since and has maintained an active piano studio specializing in transfer students and adults. Her membership in the Music Teacher’s National Association keeps her active at state, division and national levels. At First Parish Church in Dover, NH she founded several vocal and handbell choirs. The teenage handbell choir “Youth-A”Peal, which she directed for seventeen years, did extensive touring and performing in the New England area. She served a brief term as Music Director and also as director of the Senior Choir. Currently she is the Senior Choir accompanist as well as working with RCS. Jeannie and her husband Dale are avid sailors and they spend a large part of their summers cruising the coasts of Maine & Canada. Two longer trips included one to Nova Scotia for one entire summer and one down the inland waterway to the Bahamas and back. When she is not practicing, teaching or performing her other passions are her grandchildren, reading and knitting.
